Billing
Manage your ToolEquip subscription, payment methods, and billing preferences from the Billing settings page.
Subscription Plans
ToolEquip offers four plans to match your organization's needs:
- Starter — Free, up to 50 tools and 2 users
- Professional — $49/month, up to 500 tools and 10 users
- Business — $99/month, up to 2,000 tools with unlimited users
- Enterprise — Custom pricing with unlimited everything
All paid plans offer a 14-day free trial. No credit card is required to start a trial.
Upgrading or Downgrading
You can change your plan at any time from Settings > Billing:
- Upgrades — Take effect immediately. You're charged the prorated difference for the remainder of your billing period.
- Downgrades — Apply at the start of the next billing cycle. You maintain full access to your current plan's features until then.
Payment Methods
We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover) and ACH bank transfers (US only). Add or update your payment method from Settings > Billing > Payment Methods. Your payment method is securely stored and never shared with third parties.
Invoices and Receipts
View and download invoices from Settings > Billing > Invoices. Each invoice includes:
- Billing period and dates
- Plan details and quantity
- Prorated charges or credits
- Tax breakdown
- Total amount charged
Invoices are generated at the end of each billing period and emailed to the billing contact on your account.
Annual Billing
Save 20% by choosing annual billing. Annual plans are billed once per year at the discounted rate. You can switch from monthly to annual billing at any time — the prorated credit from your remaining monthly payments will be applied.
Canceling Your Subscription
You can cancel your subscription at any time from Settings > Billing > Cancel Subscription. After cancellation:
- Your account remains active until the end of the current billing period
- You'll have read-only access for an additional 30 days to export your data
- After 30 days, your account and data are permanently deleted
