We support CSV and Excel (.xlsx) file imports for equipment, users, locations, and maintenance history. Files up to 100MB can be processed with automatic field detection.
How does data mapping work?
Our import wizard automatically detects columns in your file and maps them to ToolEquip fields. You can review and adjust mappings before importing. Saved templates allow repeatable imports.
Can I export my data at any time?
Yes, you can export all your data at any time with one click. Exports include equipment records, maintenance history, check-in/out logs, audit trails, and custom reports in CSV, Excel, or PDF format.
Is there a limit on how many records I can import?
No hard limit. We\'ve processed imports of 50,000+ equipment records in a single session. Large imports run in the background, and you\'ll receive a notification when processing is complete.
Can I schedule automated imports or exports?
Yes, the automation module lets you schedule recurring imports from SFTP, email, or API endpoints. Exports can be scheduled and delivered automatically to stakeholders or external systems.
